Hi, I’m Sarah Lewis, owner of WordPress Theme Review, Findable Blogs, and Blogging Expertise, among others.

Like many of you, I’ve been aware of the idea of search engine optimization (SEO) for a long time, but it wasn’t until April 2007 that I realized just how big an impact it could make. That’s when I helped a friend and client create a new theme for her WordPress blog, and almost overnight, her traffic from Google tripled.

She wrote about it on Problogger, I wrote about it on my blog, and my quest for the best SEO themes for WordPress began. Since then, I’ve refined my own processes and have become much more selective about the free WordPress themes I choose to work with.

Along the way, I developed a system for evaluating themes, and particularly their search engine friendliness. I use it for my own projects and to help my clients find good themes, so it just made sense to make the results publicly available. This site is the result of that conclusion.

Right now the site is still relatively new and we’re working a few bugs out. If you see anything odd, or have questions, I encourage you to contact me. You can also suggest a theme for review and read more about what we look for in a good theme.
